About Mora

Mora is the regional centre of northern Dalarna. The municipality is tucked into a beautiful landscape, with green forests and blue mountains at the northern shores of Lake Siljan. There is a broad range of cultural and sporting activities, a lively spirit of entrepreneurship and a large range of shops. There are also good communications with major cities, nearby locations and the mountains. Tourists come to Mora all year round to experience the beautiful surroundings, take part in the worlds longest ski race Vasaloppet and to visit the Zorn museum, named for the internationally famous artist Anders Zorn. Mora offers tradition, community and a forward-looking spirit. The vision for Mora is to be an expanding regional centre, offering a modern lifestyle in a genuine environment, to which people move in order to combine a professional career with an active, healthy and fully packed life.
